Scott Hazard Image Inspirations

These Images represent the same photo being cut and re-layered one by one to create a worm whole like image capturing the beauty of nature and landscapes

This is an image of a side of a building being cut layer by layer to look like a hole in the side of the building.

This image captures a plant/flower blowing in the wind on a bright sunny day with the sun glooming in the background.

This is an image of smoke coming out of a chimney from a fireplace being cut layer by layer to make a worm hole like image instead of the smoke coming out of the chimney.

Infrared Photography

Infrared photography is achieved when lenses bring out a spectrum of light not visible to the human eye. infrared cameras come in many varieties , such as thermal infrared cameras which shows temperature of objects just as all infrared images , it is based on non visible light spectrums . infrared waves give off different frequency and photon energy then microwave and ultraviolet radiation.

different ways of achieving this effect are achieved by photoshop effects , adjusting exposures and manipulating the layers of the photos creating the infrared effect, adding lighting effects , or by adding an IR filter to your D-SLR camera. or permanently removing your IR blocker in your camera.

I produced these photos by reading up on wikipedia how infrared photography can be achieved, i edited these photos on photoshop cs3 adjusting exposures and lighting effects on each layer, the photos contain multiple duplicates of each other including blank layers with different diffusion effects as well as noise effects , as long as saturation and opacity

Artist statement: My photos theme is all outdoor and urban, which stays present in each photo , just in different ways . these photos took a lot of thought where i would place the camera and with each individual object taken into consideration , i added the infrared effect creating super natural and odd looks. I chose the urban/outdoor theme because it is something everyone can relate to.

David Hockney Inspired Project

How I took the photos: I took the photos with a Canon SX120 and found a place to take a picture I kept my feet still and took photos all around me in a 180 Degree angle.

Inspiration/Idea: David Hockney.

How I Edited the Image: I used Photoshop CS3 Extended to edit the image and put them together to make a panorama photo.
